Low EMF Wunpeece Duct Spacers
The Low Electro Magnetic Field (Low EMF) Wunpeece Duct Spacer were initally designed for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) for the Scattergood-Olympic 230kv Transmission Line Project. The reduction of the electro magnetic field is accomplished by arranging the cables in the circuits into a triangular configuration. By configuring the duct bank in this fashion, the conduits would also be one inch closer than if the duct bank was in a horixzontal configuration, The result is approximately a 57 percent reduction in the electro magnetic field at the location of the highest magnetic field in the duct bank.
