The company’s growth is closely tied to Adrienne McCoy, who joined Underground Devices in 1983 and purchased the business in 1987. Her leadership helped shape the company into a respected manufacturing organization known for strong customer relationships, practical engineering, and a hands-on approach to solving problems.

Today, Chris Greene continues to lead the company with the same focus on long-term relationships, steady growth, and thoughtful innovation.

Now headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Underground Devices manufactures its products in the United States and works with utilities, engineers, contractors, and distributors nationwide. Over the years, the company has expanded its capabilities while staying grounded in the values that built it from the beginning: hard work, accountability, and doing right by customers.
